Helping our members address workforce issues is the mission of our Workforce Task Force at the Greater Dallas Chamber. Through surveys, meetings and events, the Chamber focuses on key issues that impact productivity and effectiveness of employees.One of the issues that significantly impacts employee productivity is absenteeism relating to the lack of childcare or stability in child care arrangements.

Update on education in the region
The Greater Dallas Chamber together with presenting sponsor, Capital One, hosted three superintendents from the north Texas region at a luncheon event on April 24th.  Superintendents present included:  Dr. Gail Haterius, Italy ISD; Dr. Ken Helvey, Allen ISD; and Dr. Larry Lewis, Lancaster ISD.
