Ambassador Richard Fisher to speak at Trade Finance Conference
It’s not too late to register for trade Finance Conference featuring Ambassador Richard Fisher. The event is Wednesday, September 19 at the DFW Harvey Hotel.

Titled "Structured Trade Finance Demystified," this conference will explain how to provide competitive U. S. medium and long term financing to foreign buyers of U. S. durable goods and services. This is the first time in North Texas that lenders, insurers and government agencies from around the country will present together, in practical terms and through concrete cases, the export finance tools available to U. S. exporters of capital goods.

Ambassador Richard Fisher will be the keynote speaker at the luncheon during the conference and will discuss the state of the economy for trade in Latin America and China. Ambassador Fisher served as Deputy United States Trade Representative with primary responsibility for Asia, Latin America and Canada from December 1997 until January 2001. During this period, Ambassador Fisher was the chief operating officer of the U. S. government for NAFTA, the largest trade agreement of the U. S., accounting for 40% of U. S. exports and 30% of U. S. imports.

For more information about the conference and/or luncheon, please call 214-712-1930 or you may register online at www.dallaschamber.org.
