Clean Air Grant |
|
|
Dallas City
Councilwoman Lois Finkelman receiving a TXU Community Grant check in May
from the North Texas Clean Air Coalition. The City of Dallas will use this
money to design, print and mail inserts in City of Dallas water bills to
inform the community about ways to contribute to improving our air quality
during Ozone Season.

of the Greater Dallas Chamber, along with James Mitchell, Chair of WorkSource
and Laurie Larrea accept a check from T.P. O'Mahoney, Commissioner, Texas
Workforce Commission, for $553, 047 to be used in partnership with local
employers, the Dallas and Tarrant County Community Colleges to enhance the
skills of current workers in the medical industry who want to advance their
skills through coursework in licensed vocational nursing and associates
degrees in nursing as well as upper level training to particpants who want
to complete course work. |
