The sixth annual Trade Finance Conference on October 15 will feature keynote speaker Manuel Rosales, assistant administrator of the Office of International Trade for the U.S. Small Business Administration(SBA).
Celebrating its 50th anniversary, the SBA has helped nearly 20 million small businesses. The agency has become the government's most cost-effective instrument for economic development. The SBA's current business loan portfolio of about 219,000 loans worth more than $45 billion makes it the largest single financial backer of U.S. businesses in the nation.
The conference will feature presentations on working capital, export credit insurance, loan and guarantee sources, forfeiting, and small business success stories. Information on the Export Import Bank, the U.S. Department of Commerce, the Small Business Administration and other resources will also be available.
Early registration (before September 5) discounts conference tickets to $125 for Chamber members, $150 for future members. Individual lunch tickets start at $35 and tables at $500.
