Distinguished Women's Leader Lecture Series to feature Kristi Hubbard

The Greater Dallas Chamber’s Dallas Morning News Distinguished Women Leaders Lecture Series will host Kristi Hubbard, President of BeautiControl, Inc. The luncheon is on May 19th at Cityplace Conference Center.

Kristi L. Hubbard is President of BeautiControl, a $200 million dollar direct sales beauty company and manufacturer, headquartered in Dallas, Texas. Ms. Hubbard’s background in finance has given her the opportunity to be involved in all areas of the business throughout her 15-year career with the company.

Ms. Hubbard joined BeautiControl as a staff accountant in 1990. She held various positions in Accounting and Finance until she was named Chief Financial Officer in 2000 and then appointed Chief Operating Officer in 2002. Ms. Hubbard was appointed President in early 2004 and has been a strategic part of making BeautiControl one of the fastest growing beauty companies in America today.

Prior to joining the company, Ms. Hubbard worked as an Auditor for the Texas Comptroller of Public Accounting. She serves on the Board of Directors and is past Treasurer of the WHO (Women Helping Others) Foundation, an organization dedicated to supporting the overlooked needs of women and children. She received her B.B.A. degree in Accounting from Texas A&M University – Commerce and is a Certified Public Accountant.

The Dallas Morning News Distinguished Women Leaders lecture series strives to educate the public about women leaders in various professions, identify future opportunities and challenges for women in leadership positions, and highlight the achievements of women leaders while focusing on the challenges they have met and conquered.

Special thanks to the Dallas Morning News, Southwest Airlines, BeautiControl, Inc. Additional thanks to media sponsors Women’s Enterprise and Dallas Community Television.
