Suggestions needed for directors’ nominating committee

Thursday, June 30 is the deadline to suggest new members for the Directors’ Nominating Committee of the Chamber. The group meets once a year to recommend new directors to fill vacant positions on the Chamber’s board of directors.

The board’s executive committee selects the nominating committee. Any current member of the Greater Dallas Chamber is eligible for appointment to the nominating committee, except for those who served on the committee in 2004.

Suggestions for the nominating committee should be submitted on company letterhead. Include the name, telephone number and company of the person being recommended. Proposals may be faxed to the Chamber’s executive office at 214-712-1950 or mailed to Karen Brizendine, Greater Dallas Chamber, 700 North Pearl Street, Suite 1200, Dallas, Texas 75201.

Direct questions about the Directors’ Nominating Committee or the recommendation process to Karen Brizendine at 214-746-6611, or kbrizendine@dallaschamber.org.
