Keynote Speaker Named for International Business Achievement Awards

The Greater Dallas Chamber is pleased to announce the keynote speaker of the 2006 International Business Achievement Awards:  Juan Gonzalez Moreno.  As CEO of Mission Foods, Mr. Gonzalez directs a worldwide leader in corn flour and tortilla production.  With their U.S. headquarters here in Dallas, global headquarters in Mexico City, and a presence in more than 60 countries which includes a flourishing business operation in China, Mission Food's story provides an excellent model of how the Dallas/Fort Worth can serve as the bridge between two of DFW's most strategic international markets - Mexico and China.

This year, the awards are scheduled for October 10 at the Fairmont Hotel in downtown Dallas.  For eleven years, the International Business Achievement Awards have provided the premiere international business event for the Greater Dallas area.  Large corporation, individual and small to mid-size business winners are chosen for how their global successes and civic involvement have raised the international profile of Dallas/Fort Worth and contributed to the economic growth of North Texas.

Sponsorships are now available.  Grant Thornton is the platinum sponsor.  For information on sponsorship or registration, contact Dagmar Fleming at dfleming@dallaschamber.org or 214-712-1901.  For more about the awards, download our FAQ document.
