Chamber’s India Forum to feature industry experts from around the nation

Industry experts will fill the ranks of both presenters and attendees for the U.S.-India Business Forum scheduled for March 28.

Ron Somers, president of the U.S.-India Business Council in Washington, D.C. will deliver the morning keynote. Michael Cox, senior vice president and chief economist of the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas, will deliver the luncheon keynote.

The first morning panel will provide a local perspective on doing business in India.  A second panel will discuss the resources available to enterprises looking to get involved in India.

India's economy has experienced an average annual growth rate of more than 7% for over a decade. Major local business leaders companies such as EDS, TI, Perot Systems and ACS have already established business relationships with key technology centers in India.

Total trade between India and DFW has more than doubled in the last five years, reaching a total of $483.8 million in 2006.

Event sponsorships and corporate tables are available during the Forum.  For more information on involvement opportunities please contact Zoya Bozhko at zbozhko@dallaschamber.org or 214-712-1968.  Individual tickets are available for Chamber members ($80), students ($40), and the general public ($120).  For additional information on separate breakfast and luncheon tickets, please visit www.dallaschamber.org/international
