DLH Celebrates Groundbreaking

Greater Dallas Chamber’s Momentum Investor, The Allen Group along with the Greater Dallas Chamber and state and local officials will celebrate the groundbreaking of the Dallas Logistics Hub (DLH) on April 13 at 10 AM. With 6,000 acres of land with the potential for 60 million vertical square feet of distribution, manufacturing and retail development at full build out, the DLH is touted as the largest new logistics park under construction in North America. Due to the hub’s strategic location to four major highways, including the NAFTA Trade Corridor, it is expected to help solidify Dallas as an inland port.

The development will be an economic boon to southern Dallas, eventually supporting 30,000 jobs by the time the park is completed.

The general public is invited to attend this groundbreaking ceremony (PDF), which will be held at the Lancaster Municipal Airport, 730 Ferris Road. A catered lunch by Dickeys BBQ will follow the ceremony. For information about the Dallas Logistics Hub, visit www.dallaslogisticshub.com or call 214-661-1800.
