Online survey set for new eco-dev guide

Are you in the Greater Dallas Chamber’s Economic Development Guide?

Your company may be eligible for publication in the 2007-2008 Economic Development Guide if your company:

  • Employs at least 1,000 people,

  • Operates internationally, or

  • Is a technology or bio-life company, or supports the technology or bio-life industry (i.e. consulting, legal or financial services, etc)

Surveys are available online. A user name and password will be delivered to your mailbox soon.  Look for a Chamber postcard with a globe on the front.  Your user name and password can be found under your address.

This year’s survey for the guide is administered in cooperation with the North Central Texas Council of Governments, the Fort Worth Chamber, and the North Central Texas Workforce, WorkSource for Dallas County and Workforce Solutions for Tarrant County.

Information collected will be published in the 2007-08 Economic Development Guide available this fall.  Listings are free and are without obligation to purchase the guide.

Chamber members eligible for publication are highlighted with a boldface listing.  Selections are based on local employment size, affiliation with technology/bio-life industries and/or international operations.

Survey responses are also crucial to the region’s economic development efforts, infrastructure planning and other critical functions such as homeland security.  The survey deadline is April 18, 2007.  For more information or to obtain your password, contact Jessica Warchol, director of research, 214-746-6633 or jwarchol@dallaschamber.org.
