Educators focus on future workforce

Area school superintendents will discuss the state of education in the region and what lies ahead for tomorrow’s workforce at a Chamber luncheon later this month.

 

The Chamber’s annual State of the Region Luncheon is set for Tuesday, April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at The Westin Park Central, 12720 Merit Drive, Dallas.

School district leaders will discuss how business can utilize their resources to help ensure a qualified workforce for the future.  Some 650,000 future members of the workforce attend a public school district in the DFW region every day.

Panelists include: Dr. Ken Helvey, Allen ISD; Dr. Larry Lewis, Lancaster ISD; and Dr. David Simmons, Richardson ISD.
