O, Canada! Chamber, Texas leaders heading on mission to Montreal

The Greater Dallas Chamber will lead an investment mission to Montreal, Canada, Oct. 16-19.

The mission is in partnership with the Fort Worth International Center, the Fort Worth Chamber and the State of Texas "Invest in Texas" program.

Texas Sec. of State Phil Wilson will lead the State of Texas initiative, highlighted by a luncheon Oct. 18 with an estimated audience of 200 from the Montreal Council on Foreign Relations and the American Chamber of Commerce in Montreal.  The luncheon will be followed by an "Invest in Texas" Seminar.  The Greater Dallas Chamber will present a breakout session on life sciences investment opportunities in North Texas.

Universities, companies looking for partners or investors, and service providers are invited to take part in the mission.  In addition to participation in the "Invest in Texas" seminar, the delegation will meet one-on-one with companies interested in expanding into the Dallas/Fort Worth region, or that are looking to partner with U.S. firms in life sciences, technology, financial and other industry sectors.

To join the Greater Dallas Chamber on this mission, contact Sarah Carabias-Rush at srush@dallaschamber.org or 214-746-6750.
