The day long event focuses on professional development and networking opportunities for businesswomen and men--professional, corporate and entrepreneurial--at all levels in their careers.

Major General (ret.) Mary Saunders is executive director of the Leadership Institute at Texas Woman’s University in Denton. Saunders, a two star general, also served as vice director for the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), which purchases and delivers food, fuel, uniforms, medical supplies and spare parts for all military services. The DLA is the largest combat support agency for the Department of Defense. While there, she was responsible for more than 22,000 employees and $28 billion in sales. Saunders’ topic will focus on leadership and what it takes to be successful in a global economy.
