The Chamber's economic development department will host its annual Southern Sector Forum on Nov. 29, 7:30 a.m.-4 p.m., at the Bill J. Priest Institute for Economic Development, 1402 Corinth in Dallas. The forum will focus on Southern Dallas infrastructure, transportation and utility assets.

More than 550 students from Hillcrest, W.T. White, North Dallas, Sunset, Thomas Jefferson, Samuell, Molina, Wilson, Bryan Adams and Spruce high schools spent a day with area businesses last month as part of the Chamber's 2005 job shadowing program.

Capital Connections Workshop Wins Over Entrepreneurs

The Chamber’s Technology Business Council (TBC) held it’s first Capital Connections Workshop Wednesday, November 2nd at the Communities Foundation of Texas. The TBC’s Capital Connections Committee and their partner, The Entrepreneurs Foundation of North Texas, hosted the Workshop, which was sponsored by PricewaterhouseCoopers.
