Vote "Yes" at the end of the ballot on Nov. 7
Voters will have to be persistent to cast their vote for the City of Dallas' Capital Bond Program on the November 7 ballot. With dozens of elected offices to be decided, the largest Capital Bond Program in the city's history will be the last item on a very long ballot.

Chamber expanding its presence south of the border
The 10-year-old North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) has helped the Chamber and companies like Interceramic expand trade relationships and business opportunities between the U.S. and Mexico. Overall, Texas trade with Mexico has grown more than $20 billion over the last three years, making Mexico the number one trading partner for Texas last year.

2006 Momentum Award Winners Announced
The Greater Dallas Chamber honored nine area companies at the fourth annual Momentum Awards reception held on October 26, 2006, at the Hotel Crescent Court. Established in 2003, the award celebrates companies who have relocated, expanded or fostered positive economic momentum in the Dallas-Fort Worth region. Tech Index firm Entrust recognized for excellence in innovation
Entrust, one of the 42 companies included in the Greater Dallas Chamber/NASDAQ Tech Index, has been awarded a Recognition of Excellence in Innovation certificate by the U.S. Department of Commerce for its efforts to protect consumers' identities online.
U.S. Under Sec. of Commerce for Technology Robert Cresanti presented the certificate to Entrust CEO Bill Conner. The award recognizes local and regional innovators in the U.S. who have introduced a new product or service, used a new manufacturing process, or received a U.S. patent in the past 12 months.
