Historic Peru free trade agreement passes House and Senate
The U.S. Congress passed a historic free trade agreement with Peru yesterday. The Senate approved H.R. 3688, the Peru Free Trade Agreement, by a vote of 77 to18. The House of Representatives had passed the bill on November 8th by a similarly strong demonstration of support, voting 285 to 132 to approve the agreement.
